Responsible for analysing business processes, identifying areas for improvement and designing solutions to enhance business performance. This position will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, define scope, and ensure that project deliverables meet business needs.

Note: This is a 12 months contract role with an external agency payroll provider.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a senior Business Analyst with strong capital markets experience, specializing in structured products trading for a 12-month contract role (through an external agency). The role focuses on bridging business needs and technology solutions within the trading environment, with an emphasis on development of API based solutions, trading system enhancements, and end-to-end workflow integration.

KEY FEATURES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for structured products, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational goals
• Analyse existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose innovative solutions to optimize operations and drive improvement

API Integration and Management

• Design and implement scalable integration solutions with multi-issuer platforms, enhancing our API ecosystem and supporting business growth.
• Creating end-to-end solution documents, implementation blueprints, aligning with architects and SMEs on creating strategic solutions.

Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management

• Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Professional and Technical

• 7+ years of experience in a business analysis or equivalent role.
• Strong understanding of Structured Products and trading workflows. Understanding of OTC products & workflows is beneficial.
• Proficient with APIs based offerings & solutions (Fix/Https/REST protocols) specific to structured products
• Hands-on experience with multi-issuer platforms offering Structured Products capabilities
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with ability to present concise solutions

Personal and Social

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Willingness to go the extra mile to support team goals
• Work with an Agile development team to re-fine and prioritize features and stories.
• Excellent command of verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work autonomously in a global team setup to take on initiative with a positive attitude
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines
