About the role

We are looking for Telecom Engineers to join our dedicated team at Marshal Systems Pte Ltd located at Pioneer West Region.

This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and be part of an innovative, fast-paced environment.

Job Scope:

  • Design, develop and implement robust and scalable telecommunication systems and networks (Radio Communication System, Security System, Navigation Aids, Wired Communication)
  • Preparation of drawings, detailed system design with diagrams and schematics, specifications for procurement.
  • Clarify design certification, develop bulk material listings, input for preparation of reports, equipment list, fabrication and installation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver telecommunication projects on time.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and external customers

We 're looking for

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications or a related technical field
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Telecom Engineer or in a similar role
  • Expertise in telecommunications technologies, protocols and standards (at least 1), either (i) Radio Communication Systems: GMDSS, Microwave Radio, SCADA Radio, Trunked Radio, Crane Radio, Radio Dispatch, Satellite Phone, or (ii) Security Systems: Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, PABX (VoIP), Person On Board (POB), or (iii) Navigation Aids: Radar, ECDIS, Auto Pilot, AIS, DGPS, LRIT, Compass, Echo Sounder, Speed Log, VDR, Navigation & Obstruction Lights, RACON, Fog Horn, BNWAS, VSAT, Entertainment System, EMS, or (iv) Wired Communication: PAGA, Page Party, Talk Back, Smart Series, Driller, PABX (Analog), sound Powered Phone System.
  • Good communication (in both written & spoken English) and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in problem-solving complex telecommunication issues (an added advantage)
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills (an added advantage)
