About the role

Powerkids Tumbles Int'l Pte Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Sports Coach to join our talented team in our River Valley, Central Region location. As a Sports Coach - Recreational Gymnastics, you will be responsible for delivering fun, engaging, and safe gymnastics classes to children of all ages and skill levels. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the physical, mental, and social development of our young gymnasts.

What you'll be doing

  • Plan, organise, and lead engaging recreational gymnastics classes for children
  • Instruct and coach students on proper gymnastics techniques, safety, and skill development
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help them achieve their goals
  • Ensure a positive and supportive learning environment for all participants
  • Maintain equipment and facilities to the highest safety standards
  • Collaborate with the coaching team to share best practices and improve class offerings
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as attendance tracking and class scheduling

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience coaching recreational gymnastics or a similar sport
  • Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, progressions, and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and parents
  • Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
  • Enthusiasm for working with children and a passion for sports and fitness
  • First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications (e.g., USAG, NCCP, or equivalent)
