Purchasing Duties:
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for the best prices, quality, and delivery terms.
- Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement of goods.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal inventory.
- Compare pricing, terms, and delivery schedules across multiple vendors.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and explore new vendor opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Handle office administrative tasks, including documentation, filing, and data entry.
- Assist in preparing reports related to purchases, expenses, and inventory.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth procurement and operations.
- Manage correspondence, emails, and phone inquiries related to purchasing.
- Support general office management, including ordering office supplies and maintaining records.
- Assist in preparing invoices, delivery orders, and payment processing coordination.
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative roles.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Experience in [industry-specific experience, e.g., beauty, manufacturing, FMCG] is a plus.
