About the RoleJoin our dedicated team as an Analyst / Senior Analyst, where you'll play a key role in supporting Singapore's public health efforts through diagnostic testing and surveillance of vector-borne pathogens. Your work will contribute to important research and control strategies that help protect the community from diseases such as dengue and Zika.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine diagnostic testing for arboviruses and other vector-borne pathogens.
- Support laboratory surveillance efforts to track disease transmission trends.
- Perform workflows in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a laboratory team.
- Assist in data collection and reporting to support public health responses.
- Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Sciences or related field.
- Experience in a Life Sciences lab and familiarity with PCR or serology testing is advantageous.
- Comfortable with routine testing and laboratory protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Physically and mentally fit to work in a Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) laboratory.
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
