Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to design and oversee the implementation of ICT, Applications, and Data solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that technology strategies align with business objectives while ensuring security, scalability, and performance. This role requires expertise in ICT infrastructure, enterprise applications, data architecture, and cloud technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Solution Design & Architecture

- Design end-to-end ICT, application, and data architectures that align with business needs.

- Ensure interoperability between network, cloud, application, and data systems.

- Develop high-level and detailed solution designs, considering security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

- Provide technical leadership in system integration and transformation projects.

2. ICT & Cloud Infrastructure

- Architect enterprise ICT infrastructure, including networks, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization, and cybersecurity.

- Ensure robust network security, identity management, and compliance with industry standards.

- Optimize on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-based architectures to improve performance and cost efficiency.

3. Application Architecture & Integration

- Design and oversee enterprise application architecture, including ERP, CRM, and custom applications.

- Lead the integration of on-premise and cloud-based applications using APIs, microservices, and middleware.

- Ensure compliance with DevSecOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization.

4. Data & Analytics Architecture

- Develop data strategy, governance, and management frameworks to ensure secure and efficient data handling.

- Architect data lakes, warehouses, and analytics platforms for real-time insights.

- Implement best practices for data security, privacy, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, PDPA).

5. Technical Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

- Collaborate with business, IT teams, and vendors to define technology roadmaps.

- Guide development teams in adopting best practices in software architecture and infrastructure design.

- Provide technical advisory for RFPs, tenders, and procurement of IT solutions.

- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).

Requirements

1. Education & Experience:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

- 8 years of experience in IT architecture, covering ICT, applications, and data domains.

- Prior experience in designing large-scale enterprise solutions across multiple domains.

2. Technical Skills:

- Strong expertise in ICT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience in enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HRMS, etc.) and API-driven architectures.

- Deep knowledge of data architecture, databases (SQL/NoSQL), data lakes, and analytics tools.

- Proficiency in DevOps, microservices, Kubernetes, and containerization.

- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, IAM, and compliance frameworks.

3. Soft Skills:

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Ability to work across multiple teams and drive technical discussions.

- Strong documentation and presentation skills.

- Preferred Certifications (Optional but a Plus):

o AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Solution Architect Certification

o TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Certification

o ITIL / PMP / CISSP / CISM
