Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of 30–40 warehouse staff in the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of fresh produce.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, picking, packing, and dispatch, ensuring optimal freshness and product quality.
  • Enforce strict food safety, hygiene, and cold chain management standards throughout all handling processes.
  • Monitor workforce allocation and productivity; manage rostering and on-shift coordination.
  • Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to streamline supply chain processes and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, dispatch records and handover documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with MOM regulations, workplace safety protocols, and company SOPs.
  • Track and report KPIs (e.g., picking accuracy, on-time dispatch, shrinkage), and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in warehouse and distribution operations, preferably within fresh produce, FMCG, or cold chain environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate large warehouse teams (20+ staff).
  • Solid knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control principles, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Comfortable working in a night shift, including cold room environment
