Sales Performance & Revenue Generation
- Develop and execute integrated sales strategies across equipment, module, and component product lines to achieve annual revenue targets
- Manage complex sales cycles ranging from short-term component orders to multi-million dollar equipment installations
- Build and maintain diversified sales pipeline with accurate forecasting across different product categories and market segments
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize customer lifetime value
Product Portfolio Management
- Serve as technical sales expert for semiconductor capital equipment including process tools, test equipment, and automation systems
- Promote specialized modules such as process chambers, robotics modules, gas delivery systems, and control modules
- Drive sales of precision components including vacuum components, power supplies, gas panels, pumps, fabricated parts, consumables
- Coordinate product mix strategies to optimize margins across equipment, modules, and components
Technical Sales & Solution Development
- Provide comprehensive technical consultation spanning equipment integration, module compatibility, and component specifications
- Work with customers to develop integrated solutions combining equipment platforms with specialized modules and components
- Support customers in equipment upgrades, retrofits, and technology migrations using modular approaches
- Collaborate with engineering teams to customize solutions and develop application-specific configurations
Market Development & Customer Segmentation
- Develop targeted sales approaches for diverse customer segments including semiconductor fabs, equipment OEMs, research institutions, and emerging technology companies
- Analyze market opportunities across different product lifecycles from leading-edge equipment to mature component markets
- Identify opportunities in adjacent markets including MEMS, LED, solar, and advanced packaging applications
- Build strategies to penetrate both direct sales and channel partner markets
Competitive Strategy & Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitive landscape across multiple product categories including major equipment OEMs, module specialists, and component suppliers
- Develop positioning strategies against competitors in capital equipment, modular subsystems, and component markets
- Provide market intelligence on technology trends, pricing dynamics, and customer requirements across product portfolio
- Support product management teams with customer feedback and competitive analysis
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or related field)
- 6+ years of technical sales experience with at least 3 years in semiconductor industry
- Proven track record selling complex technical products with varying sales cycles and price points
- Experience managing product portfolios with multiple categories and customer segments
Technical Expertise
- Comprehensive understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment requirements
- Knowledge of process modules including plasma systems, thermal processing, vacuum systems, and material handling
- Familiarity with semiconductor components including vacuum hardware, gas handling components, and precision instrumentation
- Understanding of equipment integration, module interfacing, and component compatibility requirements
Sales & Business Acumen
- Demonstrated success in both transactional component sales and complex equipment sales
- Strong ability to develop solutions combining multiple product categories
- Experience with both direct sales and channel partner management
- Proficiency in value-based selling and total cost of ownership analysis

- Excellent technical communication skills with ability to present at various organizational levels
- Strong project management capabilities to handle multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Analytical skills for market analysis, competitive positioning, and pricing strategies

- Advanced degree in Engineering or MBA with technical undergraduate degree
- Experience with semiconductor equipment OEMs, module suppliers, or component manufacturers
- Background in semiconductor process engineering, equipment integration, or applications engineering
- Knowledge of industry standards, cleanroom protocols, and qualification processes
- Experience in international markets, particularly Asia-Pacific region
- Familiarity with emerging technologies including advanced packaging, automotive semiconductors, and IoT applications
- Achievement of revenue targets across equipment, modules, and components
- Growth in customer account penetration and wallet share
- Success in new customer acquisition across different market segments
- Effective management of product mix and gross margin optimization
