About the role

Witflux Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to join our dynamic team in the Jurong East West Region. As a PRO, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's public image and reputation, ensuring effective communication with our stakeholders. What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance Witflux Engineering's brand visibility and reputation
  2. Managing media relations, including drafting press releases, organising press conferences, and building relationships with journalists
  3. Coordinating and overseeing the execution of corporate events, conferences, and other public-facing initiatives
  4. Monitoring media coverage and online conversations about the company, and proactively addressing any issues or concerns
  5. Providing counsel and support to senior management on communication and public relations matters
  6. Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication channels
  7. Analysing the effectiveness of public relations campaigns and providing data-driven recommendations for improvement

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a public relations or corporate communications role, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing industry
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and persuasive content
  4. Strong media relations skills and experience in building and maintaining positive relationships with journalists
  5. Proficiency in developing and executing successful public relations campaigns and events
  6. Solid understanding of digital and social media trends and their application in public relations
  7. Proactive, creative, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
