About the job

We are seeking passionate and experienced associate career coaches to support individuals in their career planning. Coaches will be engaged on a project/per-client basis and compensated accordingly. This flexible arrangement allows coaches to manage their own schedules and workload while making meaningful impact.

The primary responsibilities include the following:

  • Coach individuals in career planning and transition using pre-defined courseware by LLI.

  • Administer and interpret diagnostic tools (e.g., Knowdell Card Sort, RIASEC Interest Assessment) to enhance client self-awareness.

  • Assist clients in clarifying career goals and creating career action plans.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth career coaching operations.

  • Conduct virtual or physical 1-1 coaching sessions based on clients' preferences.

  • Support pre-session admin (e.g., client scheduling, reviewing reflections, market research for client's preferred occupation).

  • Complete post-session admin (e.g., updating session trackers, writing case notes).

  • Undergo continual training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Certified Career Practitioner (CCP) will be advantageous.

  • MBTI Certification will be advantageous.

  • At least 5 years' experience in career coaching/ career development facilitation.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage diverse clients.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in using digital platforms for tool administration, case management and virtual coaching (when required).

  • Familiarity with career assessment tools and career development theories.

  • Knowledge of current job market trends and industry insights.

  • Ability to conduct both individual coaching sessions, in-person and virtually.

  • Flexibility to work adjusted schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed based on clients' availability.

  • This is a freelance opportunity.
