Roles & Responsibilities
1. Compliance and Auditing
- Conduct Audits: Perform regular, unannounced audits and inspections of all service checkpoints to ensure that security personnel are consistently following established procedures and site-specific protocols.
- Identify & Document Gaps: Identify and document any instances of non-compliance, procedural gaps, or vulnerabilities in security systems.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior management, outlining audit findings, corrective actions, and overall compliance status.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure all security operations and personnel actions are in strict accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS).
2. Personnel Management and Hiring
- Recruitment Lead: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for all security personnel, including job posting, resume screening, interviewing, and candidate selection.
- Onboarding and Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive onboarding and training programs for new and existing staff, focusing on procedural compliance, professional conduct, and incident response.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement a system to monitor and evaluate the performance of security personnel to ensure high standards are maintained.
3. Operational Performance and Improvement
- Data Analysis: Use operational data (e.g., incident reports, response times, patrol logs) to analyze performance, identify trends, and pinpoint areas of inefficiency.
- Strategic Recommendations: Propose and lead the implementation of data-driven improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of security operations.
- Technology Integration: Stay informed about new security technologies and recommend solutions that can improve compliance and operational capabilities.
4. Policy and Procedure Development
- Develop Policies: Create, write, and regularly update security policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials to reflect current best practices and evolving threats.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all security compliance inquiries, providing clear guidance to the security team and other internal departments.
5. Stakeholder and Customer Management
- Build Relationships: Proactively engage with internal departments and key stakeholders to build strong, collaborative relationships.
- Address Queries: Serve as a primary point of contact for customer and employee queries, providing clear, polite, and helpful assistance related to security protocols.
- Customer Service: Develop policies and procedures that balance security needs with a positive customer experience, ensuring all security interactions are professional and service-oriented.
