Description

Responsibilities

  • On-site Supervision of the following areas: Architectural;
  • Review and check all the drawings, specifications, and to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans/drawings;
  • Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress, safety and nonconformances to Consultants / Employer;
  • Provide weekly reports on site activities, including identified issues, proposed action plans, and solutions implemented to resolve them.
  • Attend meetings at the client's office or work site, as necessary, to address site-related issues and other project matters.
  • Review and familiarize with project drawings and contract specifications. Highlight deviations during joint testing, commissioning, and inspections to ensure smooth handover, operational occupancy, resolution of post-construction defects and user feedback.
  • Assist the Superintendent Officer (S.O.) in carrying out supervision works on site and also assist in supervising & coordination with other consultants' site staff;
  • Carry out administrative works and other duties as required by QP / Consultant / Employer;
  • Quality control of all architectural and finishing works such as inspecting materials and workmanship and performing tests to check the quality of materials;
  • Assist in the review of contractor's method statements and working procedures and ensure that contractor proceeds in accordance to approved method statement;
  • Keep, maintain and submit daily site record on progress of works, instructions given to Contractors, materials delivered to site, daily activities and weather conditions at site, number and visitors at site and any other significant information;
  • Attend site/coordination meetings as directed;
  • Prepare defects snagging list, monitor the progress of rectification works and ensure all the defects are satisfactorily rectified;
  • To ensure all the contractor's works are in statutory compliance.


Requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of site experience in the supervision of various types of developments;
  • IES accreditation would be advantageous;
  • Site supervision experience in A&A works for institutional buildings, inclusive of demolition and new structures construction;
  • Prior experience in precast construction and architectural finishes;
  • Able to perform night works.
