We are looking for a creative, trend-obsessed, and results-driven Social Media Executive to join our team. This isn't a simple "post and schedule" job. We are looking for a true content creator who lives and breathes social media, understands the anatomy of a viral video, and knows how to write a hook that stops the scroll.

If you're the person your friends turn to for the latest TikTok trends, if you find yourself storyboarding Reel ideas in your spare time, and if you get a thrill from watching engagement metrics climb, we want to talk to you.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation & Video Production:

  • Be our video champion: Concept, shoot, and edit engaging, high-quality, short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) that are on-brand and optimized for maximum reach.
  • Master the hook: Be the expert on "first 3 seconds" content. Develop and test irresistible hooks (visual and copy-based) to capture immediate attention.
  • Design compelling visuals: Create static images, carousels, and graphics using tools like Canva or the Adobe Creative Suite to complement our video strategy.

2. Social Media Management:

  • Own the calendar: Develop, manage, and execute a dynamic content calendar across all our key platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube).
  • Write captions that convert: Craft compelling, witty, and shareable captions that drive conversation, clicks, and community.
  • Engage our community: Act as the voice of our brand online. Respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely and authentic manner, fostering a loyal and active community.

3. Growth & Virality:

  • Be the trend-spotter: Constantly monitor social media for emerging trends, sounds, and content formats, and be the first to strategically adapt them for our brand.
  • Understand the algorithm: Stay on top of algorithm changes and platform updates, adjusting our strategy to ensure continued growth and visibility.
  • Analyze what works: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like reach, engagement rate, video views, and follower growth. Use data to report on what's working, what's not, and what we should do next.
Who You Are (Qualifications & Skills)

Must-Haves:

  • Proven Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience managing and growing social media accounts for a brand (B2C or personal brand).
  • A Killer Portfolio: A portfolio of social media content (especially videos) that you have personally created, which clearly demonstrates your creativity, editing skills, and understanding of hooks.
  • Video Editing Wizard: Proficient with mobile video editing apps (e.g., CapCut, InShot, or platform-native editors) and a strong understanding of pacing, cuts, and text-on-screen.
  • Exceptional Copywriter: You are a wordsmith who can be witty, empathetic, and persuasive, often in 280 characters or less.
  • Social Media Native: You have a deep, instinctual understanding of what works on platforms like TikTok and Instagram because you use them daily.
  • Creative & Scrappy: You are a fountain of new ideas and can execute them quickly and creatively, even with limited resources.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Confidence and willingness to be on-camera as a face of the brand (if applicable).
  • Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, Later).
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, or Photoshop).
  • Experience running paid social media ad campaigns.
