The Air Station (part of Easmed Group) is hiring a Clinical Application Specialist for the CPAP/Sleep Therapy division.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Application Specialist (CAS) is responsible for delivering clinical expertise, therapy education, and patient support in the management of sleep-disordered breathing, particularly through CPAP and related therapies.

This role bridges the gap between clinical practice and patient care by ensuring patients receive accurate diagnosis support, proper equipment setup, and continuous therapy adherence through education, follow-up, and data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate is clinically trained, empathetic, and passionate about patient outcomes in sleep therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Clinical Support & Patient Management

  • Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and CPAP therapy setup sessions.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on sleep apnea, therapy principles, mask fitting, and equipment maintenance.
  • Monitor therapy compliance and outcomes using data analysis tools (e.g., AirView, Encore, OSCAR).
  • Provide follow-up support to enhance patient adherence and comfort during therapy.
  • Troubleshoot patient issues, both technical and clinical, in collaboration with service teams.

2. Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with doctors, sleep physicians, and customer service teams to ensure optimal patient experience.
  • Support the Customer Service Executives in managing therapy trials, patient documentation, and feedback loops.
  • Communicate clinical observations and insights to improve workflow and patient programs.

3. Training & Education

  • Conduct internal and external training sessions on CPAP devices, mask fitting, and sleep therapy management.
  • Stay up to date on clinical best practices, product developments, and technological updates from manufacturers.
  • Support awareness programs, seminars, and clinical workshops for healthcare professionals and patients.

4. Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all patient consultations and therapy processes comply with regulatory and data protection standards (MOH, PDPA, HSA).
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation for audits and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Degree in Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Biomedical Science, or related healthcare discipline.
  • At least 2–5 years of experience in a clinical, respiratory, or sleep therapy setting.
  • Experience with CPAP / BiPAP devices, polysomnography, or respiratory diagnostics preferred.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of sleep-disordered breathing and PAP therapy.
  • Excellent communication, counseling, and patient engagement skills.
  • Competent in digital therapy monitoring systems (AirView, PrismaCloud, etc.).
  • Empathetic, patient-focused, and detail-oriented professional.
