Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial health and strategy of our construction operations in Singapore. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and compliance to support strategic business decisions and ensure sustainable growth.

Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in Financial Reporting Standards for several entities (Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, New Zealand & Indonesia)

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AR, AP, GL, and payroll functions, WIP review & allocation.

  • Perform consolidation of financial reports for senior management

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial information for management and stakeholders.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Develop and manage annual budgets & financial forecasts.

  • Monitor project costing, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.

Cash Flow & Treasury

  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury functions to ensure liquidity.

  • Monitor working capital and optimize fund usage for projects.

Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and corporate policies.

  • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities (IRAS, ACRA, etc.).

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a small finance and accounts team.

  • Coordinate with other departments and senior leadership for financial oversight.

Requirements:

· Minimum Degree in Accountancy or equivalent

· Minimum 6 years experience in accounting/finance with 2 years of managerial role

· Able to work under pressure

· Good organisation and administrative skills

· Excellent attention to detail

· Familiar with Microsoft Offices & Oracle JD Edwards

· Experience in Construction Sector will be an added advantage

· Self-directed with a high level of initiative and a 'can do' attitude.
