Loan Operations Specialist

Singapore Manpower Staffing Services (S) Pte Ltd - Head Office Full time $40,000 - $80,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for projects related to loan systems.

  • Handle disbursement, drawdown, renewal, and redemption of secured loans.

  • Coordinate with the Treasury Department for funding and manage disbursements via cashier's order or intrabank transfer.

  • Create and update records in the bank's operating systems related to Secured Loans.

  • Perform daily loan operations tasks, including timely review of legal and loan documentation for mortgage lending.

  • Liaise with external parties such as solicitors, valuers, and insurers in relation to secured loan processing.

  • Support the Bank's redemption and time deposit product processes.

  • Assist in account management tasks such as freezing of accounts, earmarking of funds, and preparing audit confirmations.

  • Take on ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or any related discipline.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in loan operations.

  • Familiarity with secured and unsecured lending, as well as collateral management.

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated team player with a good sense of ownership and accountability.
