Job Responsibilities
Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Manager to support the project management of a themed attraction development. This role involves coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution across all phases of the project. The Assistant Manager will contribute to defining scopes of work, managing contracts and schedules, facilitating submissions and approvals, and supporting overall planning efforts to deliver a world-class attraction on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Functional skills: Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting technical drawings and contracts. Ability to conduct thorough technical and financial analysis and prepare presentations for discussion with stakeholders.
- Dealing with ambiguity and complexity: Effective in navigating in a space that is unique and dynamic. Ability to make progress and provide valuable insights despite uncertainties.
- Learning agility: Strong adaptability and the ability to quickly understand concepts and structures within the themed entertainment industry, applying them effectively in various analyses.
- Time management: Excellent time management skills to effectively and efficiently handle conflicting priorities. Ability to demonstrate productivity and efficiency.
- Outstanding follow-through: Demonstrate a holistic understanding of problems and take ownership in implementing effective solutions, even when faced with challenges or ambiguity.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Interior Design, or Architecture
Required Skills
- Strong communication skills (spoken and written) for effective collaboration with international teams
- Standard work week is Monday to Friday with occasional flexibility for evenings or weekends depending on project needs is required as duties may occasionally extend into evenings or weekends depending on project needs.
- Comfortable with site work on active construction sites
- Strong ability to manage deadlines, resolve issues, and maintain focus in high-pressure situations
