Job Scope

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules and budgets for mechanical machine layout
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and communicate status updates to stakeholders
  • Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support to the project team
  • Ensure projects comply with relevant engineering standards, regulations and safety protocols
  • Responsible for the final compilation and verification of all documents necessary to transition a finalized order into manufacturing. This includes, but is not limited to, generating and approving engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs) for production systems and releasing final assembly schematics and drawings.
  • Collaborate with clients, suppliers and other project partners to deliver successful outcomes
  • Developing and reviewing complex, order-specific calculations.
  • Ensuring the technical feasibility and accuracy of custom product or service configurations during the pre-contract and proposal development phases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering project management
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design, manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
