About the Roles

We are looking for a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer for construction projects to join a prominent main contractor. The role is based on-site in Central and follows a 5.5-day workweek (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM; Saturday, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM). This permanent position offers a competitive salary package, including basic salary, handphone allowance, AWS, and a variable bonus.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinate and manage all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works on-site.
  • Supervise M&E activities to ensure they are completed on schedule and meet all safety and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, budget, and timelines.
  • Handle technical issues related to M&E works, including conducting quality checks.
  • Monitor project progress, workmanship quality, and adherence to specifications.
  • Align M&E design and project drawings with specifications and guidelines.
  • Provide technical clarifications regarding project specifications when needed.
  • Prepare structural penetration shop drawings for approval.
  • Develop and maintain M&E coordination drawings, collaborating with Architectural Coordinators and Design Engineers to secure approvals.
  • Keep accurate records of all M&E drawings and project documentation.
  • Attend site and technical meetings with consultants to discuss project developments.
  • Oversee M&E systems, including ACMV, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, and related works.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 3 years of experience in M&E coordination and supervision.
  • Strong knowledge and background in ACMV, electrical, plumbing, and sanitary systems.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and preparing M&E drawings.
  • Prior experience working with a main contractor is required.
