About the Roles

We are looking for a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer (Construction Projects) to join a main contractor based in the Central region, working at designated project sites. This is a permanent position with a 5.5-day work week (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm; Saturday, 8:30am–12:30pm). The role offers an attractive package including basic salary, handphone allowance, AWS, and variable bonus, providing excellent stability and career growth in the construction industry.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinate and manage all M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) works on site.
  • Supervise day-to-day M&E activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure M&E works are completed on time, within budget, and in line with safety standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Handle on-site engineering and technical issues, including quality control checks.
  • Monitor progress, workmanship quality, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Review and align M&E drawings and designs with project requirements.
  • Provide technical clarifications based on project specifications.
  • Prepare and submit structural penetration shop drawings for approval.
  • Develop and maintain M&E coordination drawings, and liaise with Architectural Coordinators and Design Engineers for approvals.
  • Keep accurate records of M&E drawings and project documentation.
  • Attend site and technical meetings with consultants.
  • Oversee systems such as ACMV, Electrical, Plumbing, Sanitary, and other related works.
  • Carry out other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in M&E coordination and supervision.
  • Solid knowledge of ACMV, Electrical, Plumbing, and Sanitary systems.
  • Ability to interpret and prepare M&E drawings with accuracy.
  • Previous experience working with a main contractor is required.
