Our diverse and high-performing team comprises people from more than 60 nationalities, and we welcome all experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives.We are on the lookout for an experienced Product Manager (Food Discovery) to join our team and lead the development and management of our consumer discovery products.At the core of our marketplace, the Food Discovery teams responsible for building and scaling the Search Experience, Homescreen, Onboarding, Restaurant Listings, and Menu screens that serve millions of customers daily. This team plays a pivotal role in guiding users through the app, enabling effortless exploration and discovery of vendors and dishes while delivering a world-class experience.Your mission is to continuously improve how we can help consumers effortlessly and delightfully find & discover what they want. Your main goal is to understand our user needs and provide frictionless discovery experience in ordering flow. You will lead our efforts in the first step of customer discovery to build a seamless and intuitive experience that makes the food selection process faster and enjoyable for everyone . You will envision, design, plan and drive the product that delivers an amazing experience to our tens of millions of customers across the world.
Responsibilities:
- Developing the product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market plan for Food Discovery Products
- Defining appropriate metrics to measure how effectively we're meeting each objective and setting clear targets to strive for improvement constantly
- Developing & use well-thought-out decision frameworks to align partner teams and leadership on marketplace growth. Effectively influencing your peers & leadership for the best outcome
- Be the go-to person for questions, clarifications, and direction on Discovery products
- Developing strong feedback loops with peers leading our portfolio of brands and partner-facing teams
- Resolving dependencies critical to success and work with your peers in Engineering, Analytics, and other Platform teams to establish effective operating models. Working with Engineering to drive sensible tradeoffs between product and architecture investments
- Communicating strategy, plan, trade offs, and progress through a regular cadence of written and verbal communication to Leadership team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Natural Science Studies, or a related field.
- Proven experience of around 8 or more years in successfully building products for consumers in growing markets (experience in consumer-facing products is strongly preferred).
- Efficient in developing product strategies and roadmaps, deriving insights from data and understanding high-level technical architectures.
- Data-oriented approach, a key eye for numbers, market insights and an appetite for business context and metrics
- Good at leading and influencing, and demonstrated product leadership in the past.
- Solid experience in leading agile teams and great at turning epics into well-structured user stories.
- Curious growth mindset, not afraid of challenging the status quo, and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Good in dealing with ambiguity and able to balance priorities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
