Communication & Public Affairs Executive (Contract Role) -

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, your responsibilities will be as follows -

Social Media — Help support the development and execution of our social media strategy, through proactive engagement with internal and external partners. You'll take your creativity and enthusiasm; add it to your strong analytical and problem-solving mindset using the latest social technologies to engage with our followers online.

Specific day to day responsibilities:

  • Daily monitoring and engagement within the social web, leveraging and responding as appropriate, and sharing insights across the business
  • Providing follow-through and closed loop feedback on opportunities and problems that have been identified through our various social platforms
  • Developing content based on strategic milestones throughout the year and coordinating content approval with various stakeholders

Public Relations –

Specific day to day responsibilities:

  • Researching and coordinating relevant external speaking opportunities for senior leaders aligned with Janssen Asia Pacific areas of expertise
  • Supporting the team in developing strong media pitches

Internal Communications & Employee Engagement —  Be part of a team that creates a vibrant work place by driving employee engagement initiatives

Specific day to day responsibilities:

  • Supporting various employee engagement projects with content development, project management, events co-ordination, including on-site support during events
  • Developing weekly content for the intranet platform
  • Representing the C&PA team and be a team member of cross functional teams for specific projects and provide execution support
  • Managing effectively agency and project budgets

Who we're looking for:

  • Degree or Diploma holder with 1-2 years of experience in strategic communications (public relations, advertising, journalism) or business marketing
  • Experience and comfort writing articles for online platforms
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proactive, curious, outgoing, self-starter attitude
  • Interest in healthcare and involvement and leadership in student marketing or pre-professional organizations is a plus
