SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated Public Relations & Communications Executive/Senior Executive with strong interest in media relations and strategic narrative development to join MOHH's Strategic Communications and Marketing Division. You will support the relevant divisions on public communications strategies and positioning of issues, as well as develop and implement strategic communications initiatives to build and strengthen MOHH's corporate reputation and its subsidiaries, while driving stakeholder engagement and brand positioning at a strategic level.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the development and execution of Public Relations strategies and communications campaigns that align with MOHH's corporate objectives and healthcare initiatives
  • Facilitate media relations, including developing press releases, statements, talking points, and coordinating media interviews and events
  • Drive crisis communications and issues management, including developing response strategies and managing stakeholder communications during sensitive situations
  • Oversee the development of key corporate communications materials, including speeches, presentations, and briefing documents for senior management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media, government agencies, and healthcare institutions
  • Provide strategic counsel to various divisions on public communications strategies and positioning of issues

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education Requirement(s):

  • Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field

Key Qualities:

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives for different audiences and platforms
  • Strong news sense and ability to identify potential issues and opportunities
  • Experience in crisis communications and issues management
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work with diverse groups
  • Strategic thinking capabilities with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Years of Experience Required:

  • At least 2-5 years of proven experience in public relations or corporate communications in an agency or in-house setting. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Experience in healthcare sector or public sector communications is advantageous
