Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for implementing and optimizing production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Ensuring parts are produced efficiently and meet quality standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and implement production processes and workflow
- Analyse production data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Optimize manufacturing efficiency while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
- Collaborate with the project team during product development to ensure manufacturability
- Investigate and troubleshoot process problems and equipment failures
- Work with the Quality team to develop and maintain documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, and process control plans to resolve and improve in-process related plans
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles
Monitor equipment performance and work with the Project Manager to ensure reliable operations
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the manufacturing/ precision engineering industry
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of CNC Machining
- Familiar with failure analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., 5Why, Fishbone, etc)
- Possesses quality leadership skills to lead and supervise team members
- Experience in lean manufacturing methods
- Strong communication and coordination skills, capable of working in cross-functional teams
- Able to give construction advice based on their qualified experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Epicor software
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8.30 am to 6.00 pm
