Job Description

Responsibilities for this position include:

Broad-based, hands on knowledge and experience with various types of instrument and electrical systems, equipment and software

Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation maintenance issues and complete appropriate documentation

Update and archive electrical prints, PLC programs, and operator interface software, necessary for the documentation of projects that have gone into production

Design electrical control and communication systems for production equipment

Coordinate the installation of electrical equipment by contractors and plant personnel to meet scheduled completion dates

Carry out the effective delivery of electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance to both plant equipment and building equipment on the Client's sites

Desired experience for electrical maintenance engineer includes:

Provide technical support to Maintenance for AC and DC electronic drives, Programmable Logic Controllers, and control systems

Provide cost estimates for new projects and system upgrades

Develop specifications for projects to assure completion of work on schedule with required materials and workmanship

Assist Production and Maintenance in the start-up and operation of new equipment and facilities
