Group Accounting and Reporting:

  • Assist the Finance Manager with reports and reconciliations for month-end, audit and tax for Singapore, China, Thailand & Hong Kong.
  • Act as back-up support to the local finance team of other locations mentioned.
  • Responsible for posting journal entries and accounting corrections / reclassifications.
  • Responsible for monthly balance sheet reconciliation and audit schedule.
  • Consolidate, review and upload weekly cashflow forecast into Cognos system.
  • Assist on the yearly audit and tax exercise.
  • Assist on the yearly and quarterly forecast & queries.
  • Maintain chart of account, customers & vendors masterlist in ERP and Cognos system.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to further streamline accounting tasks, increase efficiency and shorten month-end closing calendar.
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned from time to time.

Singapore Accounting and Reporting:

  • Prepare monthly management reports, balance sheet schedules and other reports with supporting analysis.
  • Review adjustments, schedules of PPV, pre-payments, accruals, fixed asset register, etc.
  • Prepare weekly cashflow forecast.
  • Prepare quarterly GST / WHT filing and timely submission for Singapore and other locations mentioned.
  • Prepare and submit pre-audit request to external auditor.
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned from time to time.
