Robotics Software Engineer-Motion Planning

Queenstown, Singapore Flexiv Robotics Full time $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Responsibilities:

1. Be responsible for the overall design of the motion planning software stack

2. Design, implement, test, and deploy motion planning and navigation algorithms for robot manipulators

3. Own the software interfaces used to communicate with various components inside the system

4. Manages schedules, met and adhere to development goals

5. Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize, design, and implement work

Requirements:

1. PhD or MS with equivalent experience, in robotics-related field

2. 3+ years of experience with robotic systems software engineering

3. Experience implementing, testing, and deploying motion planning in C++ and/or Python(Pytorch) on real robots and simulators

4. Possess both a theoretical understanding and have practical experience with motion planning algorithms

5. Capable of working independently and motivated to continualy improve best practices

Prefered Skils:

1. Experience with ROS/ROS2

2. Experience with Pytorch/CUDA for scientific computing

3. Experience with using deep learning methods for motion planning and/or perception

4. Experience working with distributed / asynchronous systems with multi-threaded and multi-proces architectures

5. Abity to learn a new knowledge area and realize it with production-level code

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70, $90,000.00 per year
