About the team:

At Aspire, the Finance team plays a strategic and pivotal role in Aspire's continued expansion. Our comprehensive Finance function encompasses six key verticals: Financial Controlling, Treasury, Finance Analytics, Strategic Finance & Planning, Credit Risk, and Finance Strategy & Operations. From conducting in-depth strategic data analysis to spearheading Finance transformation initiatives with our Aspire software, you'll directly contribute to critical business decisions in a dynamic market. This is an exciting chance to be part of a team that values strategic thinking, innovation, and robust controls in a hyper-growth environment.

About the role:

  • Work closely with the finance and tax team on various accounting and tax projects
  • Assist in month-end & year-end closing activities such as bank reconciliation, journal postings, expense management, account payables etc. to ensure completeness of all transactions
  • Assist in annual financial audit requests
  • Assist on the registration of taxes for new entity set ups
  • Assist on various tax computations
  • Assist on filling up various tax trackers and drafting tax memos to document the tax profile and historical positions of various Aspire group entities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Full-time student in Singapore majoring in finance / accounting / business / management
  • Ideally be able to commit full-time or part-time for 3 to 6 months from August 2025
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as word, excel and powerpoint
  • Detailed oriented with a desire to problem solve and take responsibility

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have previous experience working as an intern in accounting or tax
