Responsibilities:

  • Manage EMS Commercial and Operations to ensure delivery, cost, and quality goals are met.
  • Aggressively drive cost reduction through best-in-class sourcing and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Expedite component suppliers and escalate material shortages through formal channels to support on-time delivery (OTD).
  • Resolve and de-escalate issues with available resources and tools, while driving necessary improvements.
  • Manage E&O through waterfall analysis and drive mitigation & reduction.
  • Work independently and resourcefully with cross-functional teams globally to achieve goals.
  • Exercise complete authority to use own initiatives and take necessary actions in carrying out responsibilities per Performance Management (PM) goals.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • min. 8 experience years in EMS/CM management, Manufacturing/Engineering Operations, or Planning/Purchasing/Sourcing management.
  • Expertise in EMS/CM management, manufacturing and distribution processes, demand/supply planning, material management, warehouse operations, and logistics functions.
  • Program management experience preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in the Electronics Electrical (EE) category.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of expressing complex and sensitive concepts clearly and correctly.
  • Ability to produce alternative approaches or solutions to opportunities or problems, challenging the status quo.
  • Proficiency in conducting basic research, organizing information, and performing cost/benefit analysis.
  • Willingness to try new ideas and consider new approaches, with good tolerance and capability for multi-tasking.
  • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams of different cultural backgrounds and organizational levels.
  • Ability to think outside the box on E&O mitigation plans to minimize exposure.
