About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Electronic Engineer to join Tls Engineering Construction Pte. Ltd. As an Electrical/Electronic Engineer - Solar PV & Energy Storage Systems, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cutting-edge solar photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage systems. This position is located in the North Region and will involve both office-based and on-site work.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, develop, optimize solar PV and energy storage systems, including integration of energy storage systems.
  • Conduct detailed technical analysis, simulation, and system performance evaluation.
  • Develop and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for ongoing operations and maintenance of solar PV and energy storage systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, project execution, and product development, to ensure technical accuracy
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for system issues.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and user manuals.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the solar PV and energy storage industry
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical training as needed.
  • To familiar with Energy Monitoring System (EMS).

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in solar PV system design, energy storage, or power electronics.
  • Strong knowledge of photovoltaic system components, energy storage technologies, and smart charging devices.
  • Experience with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope) and simulation tools.
  • Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IEC, IEEE, AS/NZS)
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical writing skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders
