Job Overview:

The Part-Time Data Entry Clerk supports the Inventory Team by accurately recording stock data into the company's existing data platforms. This role is focused on timely and precise entry of new incoming stock numbers, ensuring records remain consistent and up-to-date. The position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who can work independently on repetitive tasks with high accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Stock Data Entry:

  • Input numbers of new incoming stock into ERP, Excel, and other designated company platforms.
  • Ensure that all entries are accurate, consistent, and promptly updated after stock arrival.
  • Highlight any discrepancies in stock records to the relevant supervisors.

2. Documentation and Record Maintenance:

  • File and maintain both electronic and physical records of delivery notes, invoices, and data-entry documents.
  • Assist the Inventory Officer in consolidating stock reports or summaries as needed.

3. Support in Stock Reconciliation:

  • Assist during periodic stock-taking exercises by cross-checking data entries with physical counts.
  • Report inconsistencies or missing records to the Inventory Officer for follow-up action.

4. General Administrative Support:

  • Prepare basic data reports, summaries, or spreadsheets when required.
  • Provide clerical assistance to the Inventory Team in other data-related tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least O-Level/NITEC or equivalent; diploma students seeking part-time work may also apply.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel; exposure to ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently on repetitive tasks with minimal supervision.
    Prior data entry experience is preferred but not required.

Working Hours and Hourly Rate:

  • Part-time/Temporary role (Min. 3–4 days per week, half-day shifts ok). Flexible scheduling can be arranged, please state your availability in your resume/CV.
