Job Summary:

The Site Technician will be responsible for overseeing the installation and coordination of formwork and precast components on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate on-site precast component installation with the client (main contractor) and subcontractors.
  • Supervise and coordinate the quality of on-site work, ensuring all activities align with the project's specifications and timelines.
  • Lead and manage subcontractors, in-house workers, and other site personnel, ensuring a smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Assist with quality control measures on-site, addressing any defects or issues promptly.
  • Monitor safety procedures and ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Attend site meetings with clients, provide regular updates on project progress, and discuss issues or concerns.
  • Oversee the timely delivery and installation of precast components, ensuring they meet the client's deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Perform other related tasks and duties as required to ensure the successful completion of the project.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: At least a Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Experience: No experience are welcome to apply, 1 year of experience in construction projects or precast supply coordination is a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, manage, and control workers and subcontractors on-site.
  • Technical Expertise: Solid knowledge of precast construction processes, including installation methods, material handling, and quality control procedures.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to quality, safety, or scheduling.
  • Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to maintaining and enforcing safety standards on-site.
