Remote, Singapore EPAM Systems Full time

As a Project Manager for Cloud Migration, you will lead the end-to-end migration of on-premises infrastructure and applications from on-prem to AWS Cloud. You will work closely with solution architects, cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders and cloud architects, to ensure successful planning, execution and delivery of cloud migration projects.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and manage cloud migration projects from on-premises to AWS, ensuring that project objectives, timelines and budgets are met
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals and deliverables in alignment with business requirements
  • Work closely with solution architects, cloud architects, infrastructure teams and vendors to execute the migration strategy
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
  • Manage the development and execution of migration roadmaps, including application, database and data migration
  • Lead project teams in the identification of dependencies, bottlenecks and resource needs to ensure timely delivery
  • Ensure compliance with AWS cloud security standards, policies and best practices
  • Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior management and stakeholders
  • Monitor post-migration performance and ensure operational stability and optimization of AWS cloud infrastructure

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in managing IT projects, preferably experience in GCC migration
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM and security best practices
  • Experience in managing large-scale infrastructure migration projects, particularly from on-premises to cloud environments
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
  • Experience with cloud automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skill
