Job Description

AESG is seeking a passionate and driven Sustainability Consultant to join our award-winning Sustainability Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for sustainability and a willingness to work across multiple disciplines and industries to promote sustainable development.

The successful candidate will be part of AESG's dynamic Sustainability Development department, managing complex design and construction projects independently, focusing on all aspects of sustainability on landmark giga-projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage project delivery independently in a client-facing role.
  2. Ensure consultancy projects are delivered to high quality within deadlines.
  3. Assist in preparing proposals as needed.
  4. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  5. Seek opportunities for repeat work and expanding project scope.
  6. Guide junior team members within projects.
Qualifications / Experience:
  1. Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science); postgraduate education (e.g., Master's) is desirable, along with relevant work experience.
  2. Minimum of five years' experience in the sustainability field within the built environment.
  3. Professional qualifications and experience with Sustainability Rating Systems such as LEED, Mostadam, Passive House, or equivalent.
  4. Proven track record in leading sustainability programs, policies, and regulatory frameworks.
  5. Proficiency with software platforms including Microsoft Office, InDesign, Rhino, and Grasshopper; knowledge of IES is beneficial.
