About the role

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Part-time Chinese Language Teacher to join our dynamic team at the KC SPACE in the Clementi Central West Region. As a part-time role, this position offers flexibility and the opportunity to share your expertise with our eager young learners in preschool and primary levels.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and deliver engaging Chinese language lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of preschool and primary school students
  2. Implement effective teaching strategies to foster a love for the Chinese language and culture
  3. Collaborate with the education team to continuously improve the curriculum and teaching methods
  4. Provide individualised support and guidance to students to enhance their language proficiency
  5. Maintain accurate records and provide feedback on student progress
  6. Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant teaching qualification or experience in teaching Chinese language to young learners
  2. Strong command of the Chinese language, both written and spoken
  3. Ability to create and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and the education team
  5. Patience, creativity, and a passion for nurturing the growth and development of young learners
  6. Availability to work part-time hours, including weekends and school holidays
