The College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS) invites applications for the position of Research Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced research in secure multi-party computation with applications to privacy-preserving machine learning. 

  • Develop scalable multi-party computation frameworks to enhance existing frameworks and support large-scale applications. 

  • Design efficient privacy-enhancing protocols to improve the security and privacy of machine learning systems. 

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to align privacy-preserving AI research with best practices in AI deployment and application.

  • Publish findings in top-tier conferences and journals, thereby contributing to the security and AI research community.

Job Requirements:

  • Preferably Master in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.

  • Independent, highly analytical, proactive and a team player

  • Excellent teamwork and verbal, written communication skills

  • In-depth knowledge relevant to the project domain.

  • Demonstrated capability to conduct innovative research.

  • The ability and willingness to adapt and incorporate novel ideas and approaches in scientific industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to formulate hypothesis and design effective experimental plans.

  • Ability to design and implement new techniques, frameworks, and protocols.

  • High-level expertise in the required experiment or modelling methods.

  • Ability to initiate collaboration research in multidisciplinary team.

  • Oversee and report project progress.

  • Ability and willingness to work some flexible hours.
