Shift Engineer

Salary: $3,300 – $4,400

Total Fixed Allowance: S$1,140

Shift Allowance + Location Allowance + Laundry Allowance

Night Shift Allowance: S$31 per night (12am–8am)

Shift Work: 8:00am – 8:00pm (12-hour shifts), rotating AM/PM, including weekends and Public Holidays.

About the Role

Join our Manufacturing Section, equipped with advanced technology and engineering controls. As a Shift Engineer, you will lead a team of technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations while supporting shift activities, process optimization, and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Production Technicians to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production operations.
  • Assist the Process Engineer with shift-related improvement projects to enhance operational and cost efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot plant, equipment, and quality issues, and propose effective corrective actions.
  • Monitor plant equipment to ensure integrity and reliability.
  • Provide necessary operating conditions to maintain stable plant operations and consistent product quality.
  • Train and develop team members.

Requirements

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, preferably with 1–2 years of experience in petroleum, chemical, or polymer industries. No experience is welcome too.
  • Solid knowledge of process control, troubleshooting, plant equipment, and instrumentation.
  • Strong analytical skills, good technical report writing ability, and effective communication.
  • A proactive team player with leadership qualities, initiative, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts (AM/PM), including weekends and Public Holidays. Scheduled rest days provided.
