Our client is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Quantity Surveyor to join their team

What you'll be doing?
  • Lead tender submissions: Spearhead the Fire Protection tender team in preparing comprehensive and competitive tender submissions.
  • Review and verify costs: Ensure accuracy in bill of quantities and cost estimations, aligning them with tender requirements.
  • Collaborate with management: Present and discuss tender costing with senior management, securing approvals for project budgets.
  • Manage supplier relationships: Liaise with suppliers and contractors to obtain proposals and quotations, conducting thorough evaluations.
  • Ensure timely deliverables: Oversee the preparation and verification of tender pricing documents and technical submissions, meeting all deadlines.
  • Represent the team: Prepare for and attend tender interviews, showcasing the team's expertise and proposals.
  • Support procurement: Assist the project team in sourcing and procuring materials and equipment for fire protection projects.
  • Facilitate contract processes: Work closely with project and contracts teams to prepare Letters of Acceptance and Subcontract awards for vendors.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational background: Candidates with a Degree, Diploma, NITEC, or Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering are encouraged to apply.
  • Relevant experience: Ideally, 3-5 years of quantity surveying experience related to fire protection services, but candidates with less experience are also welcome to apply.
  • Software proficiency: Comfortable using MS Office software and Cubic Cost Software for efficient project management and cost estimation.
