Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible to:

· Deliver operational excellence through effective management of complex technical solutions and large and complex Mechanical projects / multiple jobs

· Work on mechanical projects from inception, through strategic planning and concept to detailed design planning and resourcing effectively to meet budgets and targets

· Lead and manage M&E project teams by outlining and assigning work, reviewing technical accuracy and technical outcomes

· Identify and implement profit maximisation and cost management strategies

· Responsible for analysis of information, production of design, tenders, proposals and technical report writing

· Assist in coordination of quality assurance and commissioning of designs with other disciplines and other design consultants

· In charge of jobs control, planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting

· Respond to client enquiries about technical issues in a way that maximises understanding

· Demonstrate effective communication, presentation, networking and consulting skills

· Mentor and coach junior peers across the M&E discipline

Key Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (recognized by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore, will be an advantage)
• At least 7 years of experience from an engineering consulting environment is preferred
• Certified Professional Engineer will be an advantage
• Experience leading roles for design & design management of healthcare, commercial and/or institutional projects
• Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures
• Competent user of relevant engineering software, Building Information Modelling and Navisworks
• Excellent delegation and communication skills, which see you enlist the help of others to meet objectives
