Roles & Responsibilities

The Talent Enablement (TE) manager is responsible for the training and professional development of the University's employees. The TE manager needs to keep a strong focus not just on what the learners want and need, but also on the needs of the organisation.

The TE manager will play a critical role in the day-to-day learning activities and within the TE team. This role will require the manager to independently coordinate all TE activities, partner with internal stakeholders, regularly interact with employees and third-party training providers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Co-develop and implement TE strategies and programmes that are aligned with the University's objectives
  2. Facilitate key TE programme offerings, such as the Talent Development programmes for high potential staff and orientations for new hires
  3. Independently manage communication of L&D strategies and employee participation across various TE programmes
  4. Conduct and analyse employee learning needs
  5. Independently develop and administer the monthly onboarding programmes
  6. Act as the principal point of contact for anyone with questions about training and development
  7. Stay abreast of the latest developments in learning trends, changes in learning theory, and developments in learning technologies

Requirements

  1. Degree in Human Resources, Education or Training, with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
  2. Enjoys interacting with people
  3. Self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  5. Comfortable and proficient in facilitation skills
