Job Responsibilities
  • Provide support for the IT security and non-security infrastructure components like firewalls, intrusion prevention/detection systems, end-point protection system, SIEM, Cisco, Alcatel, Gigamon, etc.
  • Manage fault rectification process, and troubleshoot hardware and software technical problems using a range of diagnostic utility tools
  • Work closely with product vendor to ensure customer infrastructure is in good condition
  • Manage patching process and maintain the IT security components, e.g. monitor, evaluate, test, and apply critical patches to operating systems, applications, etc.
  • Perform periodic preventive maintenance to relevant equipment
Job Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge in Unix and Linux is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of virtualisation, end-point security, network security and SIEM is preferred
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skill
  • Relevant work experience (1 to 3 years) in IT security is preferred
  • Certification in Information Technology Security field and/or Networking field has an advantage
  • Willing to be on 24x7 standby
