About the job Senior Application Manager (Physics background / R&D to Industrial scale) Responsibilities:Lead the development of reader devices and security detection technology on from R&D concept to industrial scale. Perform DOE of measurements and simulations and compile insights into actionable plans. Collaborate with subcontractors to design and manufacture next-generation detection units. Improve existing technologies and develop new measurement methods to ensure top-tier detection performance. Provide technical training and support to clients and be Point of Contact. Manage a R&D lab, guide your team's growth, and ensure projects stay on track and deliver exceptional results. Prepare clear, compelling demonstrations for stakeholders and potential clients. Oversee rapid development of POCs for concept validation. Report findings to management and stakeholders with clarity and precision. Requirements:A PhD in Physics, or a related discipline. With minimum of 8-10 years relevant experience in R&D application of electronics devices/embedded technology. Deep knowledge of radiation sources, spectroscopy, or reader devices. Experience in commercializing new technology for international project teams. Industrial manufacturing experience. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills you can explain complex science in simple terms. A collaborative, hands-on, solutions-focused mindset. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours to bridge global teams.
