Tanker Operations Senior Executive

Our client, is a reputable MNC and leading ship brokering company providing a wide variety of liquid bulk cargoes services to their clients.

Reporting to: Operations Manager

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operator to manage end-to-end voyage operations. You'll collaborate closely with shipowners, charterers, and brokers, ensuring efficient execution of fixtures and smooth operational performance throughout the voyage lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with shipowners and charterers to ensure adherence to charterparty terms and declaration deadlines
  • Monitor and manage daily voyage operations, routing, and cargo planning
  • Resolve issues promptly while maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate post-fixture records to support claims handling and audits
  • Provide operational support to Brokers, including timely data entry for financial and performance tracking
  • Be available for after-hours operational coverage as needed

What They are Looking For

  • Prior experience in shipping or cargo operations (wet/bulk/tanker preferred)
  • Knowledge of charterparty contracts, vessel specs, insurance, and legal terms
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset
  • Motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn
