About the role

As an Audit Associate at Lo Hock Ling & Co', you will be responsible for supporting our team in conducting comprehensive audits for clients across a range of industries in the Central Region. What you'll be doing

  • Assisting in the planning and execution of external audits for a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Gathering and analysing financial data, documenting audit evidence, and identifying potential risks or issues
  • Preparing detailed audit reports and presenting findings to clients in a clear and concise manner
  • Collaborating with the audit team to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the firm's continuous development
  • Providing support to more senior members of the audit team as needed

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in external audit, preferably within a public accounting firm
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in using audit software and data analysis tools
  • A team player with a proactive and adaptable approach
  • Commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices
