Machine Maintenance Technician (Cleanroom) – Training Provided

Employment Type: Full-time | Shift work

Work Hours

  • Day Shift: 5 days on / 2 days off, 10:00am–7:00pm
  • Night Shift: 4 days on / 3 days off, 8:30pm–9:00am
  • Candidates comfortable with rotating/night shifts are preferred

Salary & Allowances

  • Basic: S$1,600/month
  • Full Attendance Allowance: S$100/month
  • Shift Allowance: Day S$100/month · Night S$400/month
  • OT Pay: 1.5x / 2x (per MOM regulations)
  • Estimated Gross: ~S$2,500+ depending on shift mix and OT

About the Role

Support light-duty maintenance of semiconductor production tools in a cleanroom, air-conditioned environment. You'll receive structured training and on-the-job guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machinery/equipment
  • Follow work instructions, SOPs and safety/cleanroom protocols (gowning, EHS)
  • Execute parts replacement, cleaning and simple repairs; escalate issues when required
  • Document work done (checklists/logs) and report abnormalities promptly
  • Collaborate with production/engineering teams to minimise downtime

Requirements

  • SPM / GCE O-Level or above
  • Hands-on aptitude; able to follow instructions and safety procedures
  • Good English communication for instructions, documentation and interview (one stage may be conducted fully in English)
  • Maintenance background in automotive or general machinery is an advantage
  • Cleanroom experience is a plus (training provided)
  • Able to work night/rotating shifts as rostered
  • Candidates already in Singapore or able to commute daily from Malaysia are welcome
