Singapore Orange Business Services Full time $150,000 - $200,000 per year

The Head of Finance for the APAC region will play a crucial role in driving financial performance and operational efficiency within Orange Business. This position requires a strategic leader to navigate a competitive market while ensuring compliance with global accounting standards.

Mission

APAC's Senior Management and Business Partner

  • Manage the financial performance of the region to ensure the execution of the strategy and objectives of the region in terms of growth, profitability and sales efficiency;
  • Through critical thinking and value-add analysis, ensure that the performance of the region continuously improves;
  • Influence the regional strategy in terms of Go-To-Market: what to sell where, customer target list etc;
  • Strengthen the quality of the decision making process within the region by delivering proper and accurate financial information;
  • Guarantee the quality of the planning deliverables (budget, forecasts) and their predictability levels;
  • Ensure, together with Regional Accounting, the integrity of APAC financial results, as per the accounting standards required for external communication of Orange Group; and
  • Provide an independent opinion on the region's performance to the International Finance Director of Orange Business.

Chief Financial Officer of APAC

  • Main point of contact on all Finance topics within the region: Controlling, Treasury, Tax, Internal Control, and you work in close cooperation with the local and Regional Accountants.
  • Manage the local Controlling of all legal entities across APAC.
Main Activities

Controlling & Business Partnership - APAC Sales Organization

  • Provide support to regional management in conducting and developing business, both in terms on the commercial framework and business processes;
  • Provide Business Owner with relevant reporting and analysis on revenues and costs, and analysis on trends and forecasts, advising on corrective actions as appropriate;
  • Deploy and enhance customer contract P&L in the region, in order to monitor and improve the company profitability and cash: identify cost savings, efficiencies, management of contractual terms & conditions; and
  • Monitor cash collection in the region.

Statutory Operations of Regional Entities

  • Ensure compliance of all statutory and organizational reporting requirements;
  • Together with Regional Accounting, ensure that all transactions and processes are accounted for on a consistent basis, and performed in a manner that complies with Orange policies and procedures;
  • Improve internal control environment and address all internal and external control comments; and
  • Take a pro-active approach on current and future financial and treasury business needs.

Coordination of Regional Finance Community

  • Implement adequate coordination meetings with team leaders of the various finance organization located in the region (Tax, Commercial Management, other Controlling teams etc), to effectively manage information flows with the people, manage career path, optimize processes and resources; and
  • Organize regular team meetings at the regional level.
Qualification and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, preferably MBA and CPA
  • At least 10 years of experience in Finance, preferably in the Telco or IT industry, and at least 3 years of experience in managing a team (including remote management)
  • Interested in working in a dynamic, complex, global environment,
  • Ability to adapt to a multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
  • Flexible, creative and ability to learn
  • Good team player, with the ability to act as individual practitioner.
