The Opportunity

  • Adecco is partnering with a growing renewable energy company, and we're looking for a seasoned finance professional who can manage full sets of accounts and financial reporting to join the Singapore team.
  • As an Accountant, you will be working closely with the Senior Finance Manager on month-end close, GL, management reporting, and financial reporting responsibilities.

The Job

  • Handle full sets of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local accounting standards and company policies.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST/VAT submissions and corporate tax filings.
  • Support audit processes by preparing required documentation and liaising with external auditors.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, including preparation of cash flow forecasts.
  • Assist in the implementation and improvement of internal controls and accounting systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project accounting and cost tracking for renewable energy initiatives.

Requirements

  • With CA or CPA and Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
  • More than 5 years of relevant experience in handling full sets of accounts and financial reporting. Candidates with an audit background will have an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Talent with an immediate or short-notice period would be a plus.
