We're looking for a Junior Sous Chef / Sous Chef (Pastry Department) — a hands-on leader who can bring both finesse and focus to a high-volume, artisanal pastry operation.
What You'll Do- Lead and oversee daily pastry production — from prep to finishing — ensuring consistency, quality, and precision across all items
- Manage a team of pastry chefs, training and mentoring them in craftsmanship, timing, and discipline
- Work closely with the Head Pastry Chef to execute and refine recipes, develop new creations, and maintain brand standards
- Balance artistry with efficiency — scaling up production while preserving the handmade character of every product
- Maintain structure and organization on the kitchen floor, overseeing workflow, hygiene, and production targets
- A pastry professional with at least 4–6 years of experience , including time in a leadership role within a high-volume, artisanal pastry kitchen or central production unit
- Deeply grounded in pastry fundamentals — doughs, creams, mousses, glazes, and decoration techniques
- Confident in planning, delegating, and quality-checking large-scale daily outputs
- Calm under pressure, methodical in your work, and dedicated to bringing out the best in your team
- Passionate about the craft — you take pride in every detail, from the crumb of a tart shell to the sheen of a glaze
