About the role

Join our dynamic team as a Telephone Operator at the W Singapore - Sentosa Cove, a vibrant beachfront hotel located in the stunning Sentosa Island. In this full-time role, you'll be the friendly voice connecting our guests to the world, ensuring seamless communication and delivering outstanding customer service. With the beautiful Sentosa Central Region as your backdrop, you'll thrive in this fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Promptly answer and process all incoming calls, directing guests to the appropriate departments and personnel
  2. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest queries and concerns with professionalism and empathy
  3. Maintain detailed records of all call activities and follow up on any issues or requests
  4. Liaise with other departments to ensure guest needs are met in a timely manner
  5. Contribute to a positive team environment and support your colleagues as needed
  6. Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures and safety standards

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality-related role, preferably as a Telephone Operator or Receptionist
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a calm and professional demeanor
  4. Proficiency in the English language, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  5. Strong computer skills and familiarity with hotel management software
  6. A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
