ISD confronts and addresses threats to Singapore's internal security and stability. For over 75 years, ISD and its predecessor organisations have played a central role in countering threats such as those posed by foreign subversive elements, spies, racial and religious extremists, and terrorists. What you will be working on

You will be part of a dynamic team working on MHA procurement and administration, with the following key responsibilities:
- Support and execute daily procurement transactions, including administration of purchase requests and vetting of purchase documents
- Able to provide advice and consultation on government procurement policies and procedures to end-users
- Ensure governance of Home Team procurement and compliance to Home Team procurement policies
- Able to use procurement systems effectively to process purchases online and retrieve data for analysis and reporting

What we are looking for

  • Relevant experience in procurement management and good understanding of the Government IM on Procurement will be advantageous
  • Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Able to engage internal and external parties professionally and provide good customer service to end-users
  • Possess initiative and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in IT skills (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), writing skills with a good command of English would be preferred

The Internal Security Department (ISD) confronts and addresses threats to Singapore's internal security and stability. For over 75 years, ISD and its predecessor organisations have played a central role in countering threats such as those posed by foreign subversive elements, spies, racial and religious extremists, and terrorists.
At the heart of our work are the collection of intelligence that enables us to size up the threats to Singapore's internal security, and taking the executive actions necessary to overcome those threats. Every day, we collect and analyse intelligence, make impartial assessments, and take decisive action to counter the threats to Singapore's internal security and stability, and sovereignty.
